Week 1

Nautorious was delivered to Jamestown Boat Yard on 19 September. It was hauled and placed into a shed on 20 September. The first week consisted of protecting the interior, exploratory grinding, and removal of the refrigeration unit.

This shows where the fridge went, and the padding around the wood. They have scrapped off some of the brown gelcoat to better see the damage.

Another view of the interior, where the fridge used to be. You can see where the bulkhead has been cut away against the hull.

This is what greeted us when we arrived on the weekend at Jamestown - shattered pieces of our new teak deck on the ground!

The four planks removed! (Expensive) Teak splinters everywhere! (Sorry the photo is crooked). You can see where the forward part of the toe rail was lifted. The aft toe rail was removed.

Here is where the refrigerator went to - out on deck.

A view of the boat in the 'shed'.

The forward part of the toe rail, lifted.

The damaged area, ground down to see the extent of the damaged area.
